Faculty Positions in Cardiovascular Biology Research Program

Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation

The Cardiovascular Biology Research Program at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF,https://omrf.org) invites applications for independent investigator positions at the early career level (equivalent to tenure-track Assistant Professor positions).

Candidates must have an M.D. and/or Ph.D. degree, relevant postdoctoral training, and an outstanding publication record. Successful candidates will be expected to maintain a vigorous, extramurally funded research program that addresses fundamental questions in the broad field of cardiovascular biology. Current investigators in the Program study regulation of hemostasis and thrombosis, inflammation, blood and lymphatic vessels, and organ fibrosis. Candidates with expertise that complements these areas of research are sought including expertise in bioinformatics, advanced microscopy imaging, or adult stem cell biology but all talented candidates will be considered.

OMRF is an independent, not-for-profit biomedical research institute adjacent to the campus of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) in Oklahoma City. OMRF investigators enjoy close scientific interactions with OUHSC faculty and participate in OUHSC graduate programs.
