We invite applications for a research faculty position (non-tenure earning, open rank) in the Department of Molecular Pharmacology and Physiology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Candidate is expected to participate in a translational research program led by the department chair, Dr. Sarah Yuan, studying the cellular and molecular mechanisms of vascular barrier regulation in inflammation, trauma, and sepsis. Candidate will assist the PI in research personnel management and data collection, analysis, presentation, manuscript writing and grant applications; thus, strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Applicants must hold MD, PhD, or equivalent degrees in biomedical fields with at least 2-3 years of postdoctoral research experience. Expertise in cellular/molecular biology, vascular physiology, or microscopic imaging is preferred. Applicants with extramural funding or history of funding will be considered with priority.
