Full-time RN needed for large Radiology Department. The Interventional Nurse II will be able to work all areas of interventional radiology which includes care of patients before, during, and after interventional procedures in VIR as well as VIR Prep & Recovery Unit. Must have the ability to work independently and provide competent clinical nursing care that is consistent with professional standards. Daily accountability to the Vascular Interventional Radiology Nursing Director and VIR Nurse Manager, and is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process. Rotational call IS required.
CRN Certification (Certified Radiology Nurse) or RN-BC (Certified Cardiac-Vascular Nurse) preferred.
Working Knowledge in Moderate Sedation and IV Transfusion.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support within two months of employment.
One year of nursing experience in any of the following areas: ED, ICU, Step-down, OR/PACU, Cardiac, Radiology, or other procedural setting.
